I began my green journey growing up on Broomfield Farm, which led me to the world of horticulture at university. After graduating, I dedicated over 40 years to the Parks Department in Durban, mastering the nuances of professional landscaping and plant care. This extensive experience, coupled with an unwavering passion, paved the way for Broomfield Environmental Services. The principles and values I garnered over the years became the foundation of a business that's deeply committed to enhancing and preserving the beauty of outdoor spaces.

Growing up on the farm, I was no stranger to the rhythm of the earth. My father instilled in me the value of hard work and the importance of tending to the soil before reaping its rewards. Those early days of plowing the fields and witnessing the transformation of seeds into nourishing vegetables ignited a fire within me – a fire that burns to this day, driving my commitment to creating captivating landscapes.
